Very conveniently. Functionally. Excellent program.

I had the app at 4 stars. I believe 5 stars is in order at this time.

If you want true real time stock tickers. If you need anything less that a 5 min ticker, look elsewhere. App is just crappy. Could use better interface tools, ui color overhaul, and basic charting and plotting tools. I feel ripped off for the $10 in app purchase.

The app is decent, it’s not mind blowing and it’s not bad… it works, it shows me bunches of info, news and stays up to date enough to keep me posted throughtout the day. I’m not a day trader but I dabble enough in mid-small caps that I like to keep an eye on things.

The application runs very smothly on MacOS X. The plots are simple and clear. I will go for the professional version :) (As I am the first to write a review, I expect to get it for free from StockSpy Team) :) Thanks guys!

I’ve been looking for a software like this for a long time, purchased it right away, great tool advantages: shows various timelines, great symbol browser news links links to other sites with stats disadvantages (areas for improvement) technical tools, no momentum, RSI it would be great if we could zoom within a time frame to focus on a specific section

The app is not functional for grouping stocks in seperate portfolios. Missing a key element. You cannot have the same stock in more than one group.

No real time daily chart the 5 min chart in the picture is actually a 5 day chart plus most other issues posted here seem like they can be dealt with through an upgrade ?

You will have to pay more if you want it on more than one platform; I bought it on my Mac, and it said that I could sync my data on my iPhone and iPad, but when I tried to sync it, it ask me to purchase the Pro verion again on each device!

New version bombs on mavericks after opening and loading graphs. Old version too but rarely (memory issue?)

This app is a great idea, with executional challenges and bad customer service in my view.. I keep the app open during market hours and inevitably the real-time quotes freeze but give no indication that they have unless you watch long enough to notice they haven’t changed in a while. It’s a rude awakening when you restart the app and find the market has moved quite a lot! (This on the new Mar 2016 version.) In general, the real-time is slower than on competitor Real-Time Stocktracker (ios). I also find it annooying that in order to take advantage of the advertised "sync between device" they lead off the store description with, one has to pay additionally in a separate purchase. If you buy the app for any device once, you shouldn’t have to pay for multiple versions. Offer a free-to-download iOS app that requires a keycode to sync to your desktop-established account the first time. Absurd to pay separately, or false advertising to hype syncing between devices wihtout stipulating separate purchases required . When I brought this to customer service, I got a rude series of responses that took me from irrititated to really angry.

I rarely write reviews but this product used to be great and the new version deleted ALL the research I’ve made in the last 2 years. There has been no response from tech support to help recovering ore resolving the matter. I can’t make any new favorites in any of the devices!! Ridiculous!! There is no excuse for that!! There should be a better beta-testing before relasing a new version. Two thumbs down for the new version

The windows cannot zoom in or out. Useless.

App is very basic and crashes whenever I try to look at a futures chart. Charts are visually nice but are lacking any real studies and ability to make more subjective, draw support lines or do comparisons. NEEDS MORE..

This newest version’s interface is still not acceptable to use especially when compared to a competitor — StockMarketEye. I normally have over a dozen watch lists to monitor and this app really makes updating a real task. I use StockMarketEye (and its not free) almost exclusively. StockSpy’s NEWS feature is superior, but if you want STATISTICS including excellent graphs, StockMarketEye can fill two full widths of your screen with information on a stock and you have full control of what statistics to display and where to place them (by dragging and dropping). As for StockSpy, I purchased this app over a year ago and when I saw it was updated i seriously have tried the new version this week inputting 11 watch lists that I currently use. And I am still disappointed. The upgrade to the Pro version maybe helpful to you, but after spending if I remember correctly around $30 for the original (and now free) adding $10 more for the Pro version added nothing I really needed. I do admit that because it is now free, StockSpy may be enough for your needs.

This is a good stock software, however, it missed the zoom in and zoom out function. I cannot see much more info from the chart window

This app is full of bugs! cant add buy/sell trades, things randomly disappear, grouping stocks in folder is glitchy and causes problems, app quits with error way too many times, especially when not connected to internet it panics and crashes. missing features such as alerts…. author unhelpful. his/her response to me was.. "Strange!" lol Overal I wasted my money should have gone with the competator … dont waste your money!
